New Roka Milk Tanks

These bulk milk tanks are hand crafted & made in Denmark. They are constructed from 100% stainless steel with no mild steel within the tank whatsoever. The tanks are constructed onto a sub frame that transfers the weight directly from the vessel that holds the milk down through and onto the legs. This means that there is no contact between the evaporator and any loading support and virtually eliminates any load flexing as more milk enters the tank. This also means that when the bulk milk tank is stored in the Dairy it is stored in a horizontal position in other words the tank is level and therefore all supports and legs are in their natural, vertical position. We are very proud to say that, to date, we have NEVER had an evaporator leak on any of our Roka bulk milk tanks.

One of the great attractions to South West Refrigeration of the Roka bulk milk tank is its flexibility. The Roka factory is run by a small dedicated team. Each and every tank is built to an individuals requirement, there is no mass production whatsoever within the factory of Roka.

This ensures that if a customer requires the cleaner on the left hand side, the right hand side or even side mounted that the factory can do this at no additional cost. We can also build the tank in at least 3 different dimensions: from a short tall tank to a very long slim tank, this would also be done at no additional cost. We’ve also taken to mounting the manway and sampling valve into the end of the bulk tank. This is mainly due to any height restrictions that maybe imposed due to the shape of the farmers building but is also incorporated in the design for our outdoor tank. We use a purpose built silo manway on the front of the tanks and the hygienic sample valve we use is also industrial specification and would be the same valve that you would expect to find at your creamery or cheese making facility and it is important that the sample valve be hygienic and self cleaning to ensure that any sample taken from this valve is of the highest hygienic quality.

Roka pride themselves on being able to produce one-off’s and if you have a particular size bulk tank room we can quite literally build a bulk milk tank within the dimensional restrictions of that room to ensure that we can build the maximum size storage capacity to suit your dairy.

Testimonials

" "

We are over the moon with the savings we are making. We have gone from hot washing 3 times a day with a heating time of 6 hours per hot wash, to washing twice a day with a heating time of only 2 hours per wash. We also use the water for domestic central heating and using to feed freshly calved cows. They will consume about four times more hot water than cold. This has reduced the number of DA (Twisted Stomach) significantly and this has greatly reduced my vets bills. The quality of the product and the team that installed it are a credit to South West Refrigeration
